Aggie Century Tree is pleased to introduce you to Sam Puente ’27 - the first recipient of the Aggie Ring Scholarship from Aggie Century Tree in memory of Andy Duffie ‘78. Sam will receive his Aggie Ring on October 9th, 2026.
Sam is a Civil Engineering student from Houston, Texas. He has shown a lot of grit going through A&M Galveston to be accepted into A&M’s engineering program. He has interned and has now accepted a job with McCarthy in Houston after his May '27 graduation.

Price includes a $750 tax-deductible donation. These are larger, 1" to 2" in caliper (diameter) and over 6' in height. These trees require delivery (an extra donation) and are very limited in 2026 and 2027. Starting in Fall 2028, we will have 50 of these trees available each year.
